Terms & Condition of EcoWorld Picton Aquarium’s Local Year Pass Membership
1. Valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
2. You must present your membership ID to receive free admission to EcoWorld Picton Aquarium. ID may be requested.
3. Your membership is not transferable. Only the person/s named on the membership form and ID may use it.
4. Your membership does not include Guided Tours, “Behind the Scenes”, “Close Up Encounters”, “Penguin Parade” or events.
5. No refunds, exchange or cancellation of EcoWorld Friends Membership.
6. The conditions of entry as displayed in EcoWorld Picton Aquarium admissions area must be adhered to.
7. EcoWorld Picton Aquarium reserves the right to cancel membership if any of these terms or conditions are breached.

Take your family for a Great Day Out to enjoy Picton's foreshore attractions and activities, all easily accessible on foot.

 

 

12.45pm    Arrive at EcoWorld Aquarium on the Picton Foreshore

EcoWorld Aquarium is your base, where there are refreshments, secure bag storage and restrooms. 

 

Freshen up, get your camera and begin to discover Picton.

 

 

1pm    Picton Foreshore Heritage Walk

Your introduction to Picton. Enjoy a leisurely self-guided walk of the main sights of Picton's beautiful foreshore, Captain Cook, Maori, whaling, maritime history, European settlers.

 

 

2pm    EcoWorld Aquarium & Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre - Close Up Encounters Tour presentations and feeding. 

You will see some of New Zealand's unique animals: Touch a Living Fossil (Tuatara), get up very close to a rescued little blue penguin and have fun discovering some of the amazing animals that live in New Zealand: kakariki (endangered native parakeet), mystical seahorses, giant squid (preserved), hundreds of fish of the Marlborough Sounds, stingray, sharks, crayfish, octopus, lizards, frogs etc. and experience some of the work of the “Marlborough Sounds Endangered Species Breeding Collective.”

 

 

3pm    Explore Picton

Take in more of picturesque Picton, Foreshore, browse artisan and boutique shops, galleries, relax.

 

 

5pm    Meet at EcoWorld if you wish to celebrate your Great Day Out with us.
